totally agree!! I cant wait to see what happens, but it is definitely not what it seems I dont think.
A huge part of me totally thought the betrayal was going to be Ezra, because I feel as though him and Aria never have any REAL issues, but that is not the case anymore with this unknown child with Maggie sitch.
SO, TOBY. Holy shit, no freaking way. My jaw dropped when I saw this. I am happy they did something like this in the show because it adds so much to it!! But I think that Toby is working with Mona because he wants to keep the girls safe, not because he wants to actually be a part of Mona’s crazy plans.
Think about it, the calls with the weird voice were obviously Toby, because we see him do it in the last part to buy two tickets to the dance. And the same voice called Emily and warned her to get out of the room, saying she had one minute. Which was REALLY terrifying, but it was actually a warning, not a threat. And he then calls Emily and all the girls in the hospital to say he owes her one.
Toby always cared about Emily as a friend, and he obviously DID NOT kill Mona because crazy “Nate” did. Therefore, my theory is that he is working with Mona to actually help the girls. Thoughts?…
